To function as a Benevolent Institution in the Provinces of Gauteng, Western Cape, Kwa-Zulu Natal and other provinces in which the council may exist, within the framework of the National Welfare Act of 1978 and other Acts and Regulations pertaining to the aims and objects of the Council.

Personal Grooming
To care for children found to be in need of care, both non-committed and committed, in terms of the relevant Acts and Regulations.

To provide crèches, nursery/pre-schools; adult and other educational/training facilities, preventative services, occupational training; and social and cultural opportunities for children and adults.
 
To take care of the aged, the destitute, the disabled, chronically sick
and children by providing and promoting:
Institutional care for children, the elderly and others in need of care of care and all their physical, social, medical, educational, spiritual and other needs.

Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psycho-psychiatric services and other paramedical services.

Service Centers, Day Care Services; sheltered and protective workshops, and other community services e.g. meals on wheels and domiciliary services.

Child Care
   
Social well-being of all its residents and others and preserving their independence and dignity.  
To inaugurate, establish, promote, manage and administer alternate medical/health services e.g. Ayurvedic medicine.

To arrange funeral and related services where necessary.
 
To receive and administer pensions, grants and payments for services rendered.
