To care for children found
to be in need of care, both non-committed and committed, in terms
of the relevant Acts and Regulations. To provide crèches, nursery/pre-schools; adult and other educational/training facilities, preventative services, occupational training; and social and cultural opportunities for children and adults. |
| To take care of the aged, the destitute,
the disabled, chronically sick and children by providing and promoting: |

 Institutional
care for children, the elderly and others in need of care of care
and all their physical, social, medical, educational, spiritual and
other needs.Occupational Therapy,
Physiotherapy, Psycho-psychiatric services and other paramedical services.Service Centers,
Day Care Services; sheltered and protective workshops, and other community
services e.g. meals on wheels and domiciliary services. |
 Child Care |

Social well-being of all its residents and others and preserving their
independence and dignity. |

| To inaugurate, establish, promote, manage and administer alternate medical/health services e.g. Ayurvedic medicine. |
 Intensive Medical Care |
| To arrange funeral and related services where necessary. | |
| To receive and administer pensions, grants and payments for services rendered. | |
